The story that began it all...this part of the site contains the story of digimon, my view on it anyways. I heard a lot of rumors that Ryo (introduced in season 3) had been in the previous seasons at rare moments where you didn't know who he was...that confuses me. Anyways, I'll try not to give too much away, I don't want to spoil it since I don't have cable, I'm not sure if it's still on.

Season 1: The show begins with Tai speaking, he introduces himself and the rest of the digidestined. The digidestined are the main characters of the show. They were destined to go to DigiWorld. When they were all children they learn that some special beings from DigiWorld made crests and tags for them to help the digiworld in case of desperate needs. Time runs differently in the DigWorld from the Real World. This will cause complications.
